Active Threat Training
Audience: Staff, leadership, all stakeholders
The attacks in Pittsburgh, Poway, Jersey City, Monsey and across the country thrust this danger into our collective consciousness. How should organizations prepare for an active threat attack. Congregants and clergy, students and faculty, staff and volunteers must be prepared to take immediate action to save their own lives before law enforcement arrives. Preparing all your stakeholders for a potential active threat incident is an integral component of an organization’s incident response planning. Because active shooter incidents are unpredictable and evolve quickly, preparing for and knowing what to do in an active shooter situation can be the difference between life and death. Best Practices for Everyday Security Procedures
Audience: Staff, leadership
How can you keep your synagogue, school or other Jewish facility safe and secure? What should you know and which no-cost or low-cost policies and procedures can lead to a facility that is both warm and welcoming and safe and secure? Click here to request a CSI training.
Included in this training are the concepts of Access Control and the Power of Hello. Based on DHS’ “Power of Hello”, this training is designed to raise awareness about all aspects of suspicious behavior and describes potential suspicious activities. Situational Awareness & De-Escalation Training
Audience: Leadership, staff, all stakeholders
No matter your location, you should be aware of where you are and what is happening around you as well as alert to potential threats to your health and safety and cognizant of emergency exits and other paths to safety. CSI Situational Awareness training teaches individuals techniques to increase their awareness and plan and prepare to respond to potentially dangerous situations. De-Escalation is a method to prevent potential violence. Individuals are encouraged to use purposeful actions, verbal communications, and body language to calm a potentially dangerous situation. Your safety and the safety of others is the highest priority.
Cybersecurity Training
Audience: Leadership and all staff.
